The Piacere rod series aims to please even the most ambitious of anglers !

It is designed for light and ultralight fishing and its target fish are chub, perch and trout.

The rods are light, very well balanced and super-sensitive, offering perfect control over whichever lure type you prefer, be it a jig, a crank or a spoon.

The rod is built around a Toray 30T + 46T high modulus carbon “backbone”. The Toray body is made out of the 2 types of carbon, each different with densities and characteristics. By combining these two types of carbon the rod achieves unparalleled casting performance and supreme control over any kind of lure.

Because the average weight of the rods is around 90 grams, it’s somewhat difficult to obtain a blank that is very strong.

The “steroid boost” comes from the two carbon bands that are woven at a 45° angle (CROSSxWEAVE). They cover the entire length of the rod and act as an extra lair of carbon while only wrapping half of the actual surface. This provides the perfect balance between power, stiffness and weight.

The rods have a very modern design, with a strong JDM (Japan Domestic Market) influence.

The metal parts that lock the reel seat and butt grip are anodized painted in copper color.

The same copper color with metal inlays was used for the guide threads and also the “Toray” logo.

The reel seat is similar to the Fuji Skeleton model and is reinforced with 1K carbon parts. It locks with a custom made, metal locking nut.

The guides are equipped with a slim profile SiC center. The first and second guides are single footed while the rest are of the “K” series type.

The configuration of the guides is carefully selected to offer maximum performance while keeping the weight down to a minimum.

The Piacere rod was designed to provide anglers with a top quality rod that has a modern appearance, is fun to use and has the same characteristics as a much more expensive rod.
